Corpus des grammaires françaises de la Renaissance
(Corpus of French Renaissance grammars)
The Corpus des grammaires françaises de la Renaissance (Corpus of French Renaissance grammars) is characterised by a great wealth and diversity of information. The grammar was not yet a fixed genre and corresponded to very different intentions: not only to describe the French language, but also to teach it to foreigners eager to learn an idiom and a culture which flourished throughout Europe.
This almost exhaustive Corpus makes available for researchers, teachers, students and a wide public interested in the history of the French language a genuine encyclopedia equipped with very many research functions.
